Effects of Misalignments on the
Cerebrospinal Nervous System
CORRECTION OF THE
MISALIGNED VERTEBRAE LISTED WILL RELEASE THE IMPINGED
NERVES ALLOWING THE AFFECTED PART TO RETURN TO NORMAL
FUNCTION.
C1, C2, C3 |
Misaligned vertebrae in the upper neck will
impinge the nerves leading to the head and
nervousness, face. nerve system. The result of
this impingement is tension along the base of
the skull, involvements, insomnia, headaches,
certain eye disorders, facial pain (tri-facial
neuralgia), and torticollis (wry neck).

A
subluxated vertebrae in the mid-neck will cause
pressure on the nerves leading to the throat
Neck pain and spasm, throat pain, swallowing
difficulties, and speech problems may be the
result. |

T2, T3
|
A
malpositioned vertebrae in the lower neck and
upper back will irritate the nerves leading to
the throat, shoulders, arms and hands. The
result of this continued nerve irritation is
neuritis, or bursitis of one or both arms and
hands, numbness of the hands and fingers, pain
in the lower neck and upper back, tension across
the shoulders and swallowing difficulties.

T4, T5, T6,
T7 |
A
vertebrae out of its normal position between the
shoulder blades will produce slight pressure on
the nerves in this area This "pinching" will
cause pain and tension between the shoulder
blades, pain radiating outward under the
shoulder blades and to the front of the chest.
Continued pressure on these nerves may lead to
shingles. |
T8, T9, T10,
T11 |
A
subluxated spinal segment in tile mid-back will
cause pain and tension just above the belt line,
possibly impinging tile nerves radiating outward
between the ribs producing shingles. |
T12,
L1 |
When
the vertebrae in the lower mid-back have slipped
out of place the result is pain along the belt
line and pain in the side just under the ribs. |
L2, L3, L4,
L5, S1 |
Whenever the vertebrae in the lower back are
misaligned pressure on the nerves radiating
outward to the hips, pelvis and legs is the
usual result. Sustained pressure on these nerves
may cause pain and tension in the lower back,
sacroiliac pain, lumbago, painful neuritis of
one or both legs, sciatica, pain in the legs,
pain into the groin, pain into the hips and
buttocks, disc difficulties, and pain at the end
of the spine while sitting. |
